Republicans Mock Biden’s Dog For Having Tan Coat

WASHINGTON, DC – Republicans criticized President Joe Biden’s dog Champ, for showing up to a White House news conference in an “unpresidential” tan-colored coat.

“There’s no way any of us can excuse what the president’s dog did yesterday. I mean, the world is watching,” said Ted Cruz in an interview after ditching Texans during a crisis. “This is probably the biggest political mistake I’ve ever heard of. He should resign immediately.”

Just six years after former President Barack Obama made a similar blunder by wearing a tan suit, pundits were quick to pounce on Champ for failing to learn from past Democrats’ mistakes. Several cable news outlets ran wild with the story, holding roundtable discussions with top fashion designers and political strategists to discuss the ramifications of the controversial look.

“ISIS is watching. I just think this sends a message that you’re the kind of dog who will roll over on your belly in an act of submission.” said Newsmax Host Greg Kelly. “In my opinion, a nice clean white coat would have been a better choice to show you want to make America great again.”

When asked if he had any regrets about his fashion choice, Champ just licked himself before walking over to the Rose Garden to do his business and improve the design choices made by former First Lady Melania Trump.
