GEORGETOWN – In a world full of outrageous garnishes for a classic Bloody Mary, the hottest new brunch spot in Washington DC just announced its latest creation: the Thanksgiving Bloody Mary, a vodka and tomato cocktail topped with a 10 course turkey dinner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Bloody Mary is known as the perfect hangover drink,” said restaurant owner Gus Henry. “But why can’t it also be known as the best leftover drink?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Thanksgiving Bloody Mary is served in a 16 ounce pint glass with a salted rim. It\u2019s made with house-infused bacon vodka and organic bloody mary mix. The garnishes include a lime wedge, homemade candied bacon, shrimp with cocktail sauce, a 25 pound fully cooked turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, a buttermilk biscuit, sweet potato casserole, cranberry relish and an entire pumpkin pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The actual beverage serves one person, but we recommend sharing the garnishes with at least 12 friends or your entire extended family,” said Henry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a hefty price of $235 per drink, the Thanksgiving Bloody Mary is not the most expensive brunch drink of its kind.
