Adam Cunningham is a candidate for Maryland State Senate District 39.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI’m literally just a regular, working class black man who never had political aspirations up until I started running. But I believe that is a strength to my candidacy. It’s for the simple fact that I am a regular person that I feel qualifies me the most for becoming an elected representative of this district. Our elected officials should be regular people, working-class folks who understand that the way things are right now isn’t working and want to push for real, tangible change!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. If the MoCo government was a dictatorship, what\u2019s the first thing you would do as its unquestioned supreme leader?
    I would simply abolish the Montgomery County government.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/li>
  2. Which superhero would you hire to run MCPS and why?
    <\/em>I would choose The Flash, specifically Wally West, because he can run fast.<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Mosquitos or cicadas?
    <\/em>Cicadas without a doubt. Cicadas are annoying but uncommon, but mosquitos are literal hellspawn. If they weren’t crucial to the ecosystem I would fight hard for their extinction.<\/strong><\/li>
  4. If Elon Musk offered 44 billion dollars to buy Montgomery County, how would you respond?<\/em>
    I suppose that depends on a few things. If he were to show up to Montgomery County to announce this purchase, I would be obligated to pepper him with rotten\u00a0tomatoes and eggs, among other things.<\/strong><\/li>
  5. Which Golden Girl are you and why?<\/em>
    I unfortunately have never watched the Golden Girls in any real capacity, but if I had to choose I’d be the oldest one that is the most sarcastic.<\/strong><\/li>
  6. If you had to send a mixtape to your opponent(s), what songs would it include?<\/em>
    Several variants of Bella Ciao, several songs by System of a Down including Protect the Land and BYOB, and probably some French drill music to top it all off.<\/strong><\/li>
  7. Who would you Kiss\/Marry\/Kill between Bethesda, Silver Spring, and Gaithersburg?<\/em>
    Kiss Silver Spring, Marry Gaithersburg, and Kill Bethesda<\/strong>.<\/em><\/li>
